Getting Started
Use the Get a Quote form on our website. Upload your file (STL, STEP, OBJ, or 3MF), select your preferred material, and add any notes about finish requirements. We'll review your file and respond with a detailed quote within 48 hours on business days.
Yes. Send a sketch, photo, or written description through the contact form and we'll take it from there. We offer 3D modelling as a separate service — the fee covers our design time and will be quoted upfront before any work begins. Please note that modelling fees do not include ownership or transfer of the digital files.
No — we accept single-part orders. Whether you need one prototype or a short production run, we can accommodate it. For large orders, please mention the quantity in your quote request so we can factor in any volume pricing.
Quotes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. Material prices can fluctuate, so if your quote has expired please request a fresh one before placing your order.
Files & Design
We accept the following formats:
- STL — the most common format for 3D printing
- STEP / STP — preferred for engineering parts with precise geometry
- OBJ — good for complex organic shapes
- 3MF — includes colour and material information
For best results:
- Ensure the model is watertight (no holes or non-manifold geometry)
- Set units correctly — we work in millimetres
- Keep wall thickness above 1.2 mm for FDM, 0.4 mm for resin
- Avoid unsupported overhangs greater than 45° where possible
- If tight tolerances are required, specify them in your notes
Yes. Your design files are used solely to produce your order and are not shared with third parties. We do not reproduce, sell, or distribute your designs. If you require a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) for a sensitive project, please request one when making your enquiry.
Materials & Printing
Our FDM material range includes:
- PLA — general-purpose, great detail, wide colour range
- PETG — more durable than PLA, good chemical resistance
- ABS — heat-resistant, impact-resistant, machinable
- ASA — UV and weather-resistant, suited to outdoor use
- TPU — flexible and rubber-like
- Engineering filaments — nylon, PC, carbon-fibre blends for demanding applications
FDM (Fused Deposition Modelling) builds parts by melting and depositing filament layer by layer. It's great for functional parts, structural components, large prints, and a wide range of engineering materials. Layer lines are visible but can be sanded smooth.
Resin (SLA/MSLA) cures liquid photopolymer resin with UV light. It produces very fine detail and a smooth surface finish, making it ideal for miniatures, jewellery masters, dental models, and display items. Resin parts are generally more brittle and less heat-resistant than FDM engineering materials.

Typical tolerances for FDM printing are ±0.2 mm for standard prints. Tighter tolerances (±0.1 mm) may be achievable depending on part geometry, material, and print orientation — please specify your requirements in the quote request so we can advise. Resin printing typically achieves ±0.05–0.1 mm.
We offer the following post-processing services:
- Support removal and surface clean-up
- Sanding (medium and fine grades)
- Priming and spray painting
- Heat-set insert installation
Turnaround & Delivery
Most standard orders are ready within 48–72 hours of order confirmation and payment. Larger or more complex prints may take longer. We'll give you an estimated completion date in your quote confirmation. If you have a hard deadline, let us know upfront and we'll do our best to accommodate it.
Yes. Local pickup is available for Perth-based customers. The pickup location will be confirmed when your order is ready. Pickup is our fastest option and avoids any shipping time or cost.
Yes. We ship to all states and territories via express courier. Shipping costs are calculated based on package dimensions and weight and will be included in your quote. We pack parts carefully to ensure they arrive undamaged.
Pricing & Payment
Pricing is based on:
- Material type and volume used
- Print time (complexity, infill, layer height)
- Post-processing requirements
- Quantity (volume discounts available)
All prices quoted are in Australian dollars. GST (10%) will be applied where applicable and itemised on your invoice. A Tax Invoice will be provided upon payment.
We accept bank transfer (EFT). Payment details will be provided on your invoice. Please reference your invoice number when making payment so we can match it quickly and get your order into production.
